Gujrat Titans won the toss and decided to bat first.
Wriddhiman Saha and Shubman Gill come in as the openers for Gujrat Titans. Wriddhiman Saha gets caught out on the ball of Sunil Narine after scoring 17 runs on 17 balls. After which Sai Sudharsan comes and supports Shubman Gill. Both together made the score of the team a little faster.
Sai Sudharsan helped a lot in advancing the team’s score by hitting 53 runs on 38 balls. In-form Shubman Gill was dismissed by Sunil Narine on the fourth ball of 11 overs to slow down GT’s score a bit.
After which came Vijay Shankar who was looking in very dangerous form. Vijay Shankar didn’t spare any bowler. The bowler who came in front of him kept hitting him. Gujarat Titans were able to reach a big score of 204 in 20 overs only because of the brilliant batting of Vijay Shankar and Sai Sudharsan.

Narayan Jagadeesan’s first match did not go well for him. Jagadeesan scored only 6 runs after playing 8 balls and got out on Joshua Little’s ball. Rahmanullah Gurbaz’s last match was very good, he scored 57 runs in 44 balls against RCB.

But his batting did not work in this match and he got out after scoring 15 runs in 12 balls. Kolkata Knight Riders had lost 2 wickets on the score of 28 runs till the fourth over. After which Venkatesh Iyer and Nitish Rana come to bat, who take KKR’s score forward very fast.
Venkatesh Iyer scored 83 runs on 40 balls at a very fast pace and brought Kolkata very close to victory. He was also supported by Nitish Rana. Rana made 45 runs on 29 balls. Rinku Singh comes to support Iyer after Rana is out.
Rinku Singh has displayed excellent batting today. When Kolkata Knight Riders needed 29 runs in 1 over to win, Rinku Singh made Kolkata win the match by hitting 5 sixes off Yash Dayal’s ball.
Kolkata Knight Riders won this match by 3 wickets.
